Tonight, AMD faces the same high bar. Consensus calls for EPS of $1.29 on revenue of $9.89 billion. The question: can AMD match Palantir's momentum?

AMD reports post-market, the bar is high

AMD closed at $341.54 after a 5.27% pullback Monday from the $360 peak. The setup is tricky: shares rallied 88% since March, valuation is premium, and PLTR just raised the bar.

What investors will monitor: MI300X adoption at Microsoft Azure, Meta, and Google. TSM 3nm capacity allocation. And whether AMD beats and raises guidance the way PLTR did. A beat alone is not enough, the market wants confidence on sustainability.

ISM Services PMI at 10:00 AM ET

Consensus is ~54.0. March came in at 54.0, February at 56.1. Services sector is 70%+ of US economy, making this a leading indicator for GDP. The Prices Index is in focus: if it stays elevated, the sticky inflation narrative adds pressure on the Fed to hold rates longer.
