Gotrade News - Antam gold bars took a hit on Wednesday (25/2), dropping IDR 45,000 per gram to IDR 3,023,000 from IDR 3,068,000 the day prior on Tuesday (23/2). Despite the pullback, prices are still holding above the IDR 3 million psychological level.
The correction tracks a broader slide in global spot gold prices, which closed at US$ 5,140.1 per troy ounce. According to Bloomberg Technoz, global gold prices tumbled 1.67% compared to the previous session, and that weakness fed directly into Antam's domestic price.
Antam gold price dropped IDR 45,000 to IDR 3,023,000 per gram on Wednesday (25/2).
Antam's buyback price also weakened by IDR 52,000 to IDR 2,802,000 per gram.
The decline was triggered by a 1.67% correction in global spot gold prices.
Alongside the drop in selling price, Antam's buyback rate also pulled back. According to Bloomberg Technoz data, Antam's gold buyback price now sits at IDR 2,802,000 per gram, down IDR 52,000 from the previous day.

On the smaller end, the 0.5-gram bar is priced at IDR 1,561,500 while the 1-gram bar comes in at IDR 3,023,000. The 2-gram bar is listed at IDR 5,986,000, while the 3-gram and 5-gram bars are priced at IDR 8,954,000 and IDR 14,890,000, respectively.
In the mid-range, the 10-gram bar is priced at IDR 29,725,000 and the 25-gram bar at IDR 74,187,000. The 50-gram and 100-gram bars are listed at IDR 148,295,000 and IDR 296,512,000, respectively.
For larger sizes, the 250-gram bar is priced at IDR 741,015,000 and the 500-gram bar at IDR 1,481,820,000. The largest available size, 1,000 grams or 1 kilogram, is priced at IDR 2,963,600,000.
This single-day correction reverses the upward momentum Antam gold had been riding over the past several sessions. Where prices head next will largely depend on global gold's direction, particularly how markets respond to US economic data and Federal Reserve rate policy.
