The service spans 2,883 locations with a total of 8,755 service points operated by BI and commercial banks across Indonesia.
Based on official data released by BI on Friday (13/2), the total cash prepared for circulation reaches Rp185.6 trillion. Of that amount, Rp8.6 trillion is specifically allocated for the banknote exchange service, with a maximum limit of Rp5.3 million per package per person per day.

For the Cirebon-Kuningan area, the new banknote exchange schedule runs from March 2 to 13, 2026 through both mobile cash units and bank counters. Mobile units are scheduled to appear at several mosques, including Masjid Syiarul Islam in Kuningan on Monday (2/3) and Masjid Nurul Amal Perumnas in Cirebon City on Tuesday (10/3).
Banking counter services in Cirebon City will involve a number of banks from March 2 to 5, 2026, including BTN, Bank Mandiri, BRI, and Bank Muamalat. In Kuningan Regency, banking services will include Bank Mandiri KC Kuningan, BJB Cabang Kuningan, and KB Financial (KB).
How to Register and What to Bring
The public must make a reservation through the Pintar BI website before showing up at any exchange location. Registration requires a National ID number (NIK), full name, phone number, and an active email address, along with a digital or printed booking confirmation to be presented on-site.
Upon arrival, visitors must bring their original ID card, booking confirmation, and the banknotes to be exchanged, sorted and arranged in the same direction by denomination. Exchanges cannot be done on behalf of someone else, no exceptions.
The exchanged banknotes will be a mix of various denominations ranging from Rp1,000 to Rp50,000. The public is encouraged to keep an eye on the next queue opening schedule through the Pintar BI app to avoid missing out on available slots.
