Gotrade News - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) recorded a significant rise on Thursday (3/26/2026). At 9:01 AM, IHSG increased by 0.16% to reach 7,313. This surge was driven by easing geopolitical tensions after the United States initiated a peace proposal with Iran.

Asian stock markets generally rebounded as well, supporting the strengthening of IHSG. The decline in crude oil prices became a positive catalyst for the Indonesian market. BRI Danareksa Sekuritas called this an opportunity for investors.

Additional support came from the expectation of dividend payments and upcoming AGM agendas of listed companies. Investors see potential gains from the released financial reports, making the market atmosphere more optimistic.

Although IHSG briefly reached its highest at 7,323.702, it eventually closed down by 0.36% at 7,276.047. This indicates that selling pressure persisted, despite positive sentiment dominating early trading.

Sectors such as energy and industry continued to weaken significantly. However, the technology, property, and basic materials sectors managed to contribute positively to the index.

Movements in IHSG were followed by a market capitalization reaching Rp 12,841.079 trillion. Today's trading volume reached 8.168 billion shares, with a transaction value of Rp 21.264 trillion, indicating active market activity.

Among the top gainers, PT Indo Premier Investment Management (XIFE) and PT Ciptagana Asset Management (XCIS) showed stock price increases of more than 30% each. This boosts investor confidence in the potential for market stability.

However, stocks like PT Rockfields Properti Indonesia Tbk (ROCK) and PT Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (ICON) faced selling pressure. Both stocks fell more than 10%, indicating high volatility in some segments.

Today's market conditions show positive sentiment amid declining regional tensions. This offers hope for investors regarding stability and growth in the near term.
