Gotrade News - Two oil tankers owned by PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) have successfully exited the Middle Eastern conflict zone. Ensuring the safety of the crew and cargo was the top priority during the operation.

Previously situated in the Gulf of Oman, the vessels named PIS Paragon and PIS Rinjani managed to leave the area without having to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a known conflict hotspot.

Vega Pita, Acting Corporate Secretary of Pertamina International Shipping, emphasized that crew safety and cargo security were the main focuses. This success highlights Pertamina's preparedness in dealing with critical situations.

The two vessels are engaged in energy distribution for third parties. Although only two of the four vessels managed to exit the conflict zone, this maneuver does not disrupt the national energy supply.

Meanwhile, two other ships, VLCC Pertamina Pride and Gamsunoro, are still in the Arabian Gulf. These ships cannot pass through the Strait of Hormuz yet, but they remain in a secure condition.

Vega assured that the current situation does not affect the national energy distribution. With a total operation of 345 vessels, Pertamina Group guarantees the stability of Indonesia's energy supply.

This operational success demonstrates Pertamina's readiness to respond to geopolitical dynamics. Intensive coordination with related parties is ongoing to ensure the safety of other voyage operations.

This event highlights Pertamina's reliable logistics strength, proving the company's commitment to energy supply security amidst growing global challenges through swift maneuvers.

The successful evacuation of PIS vessels underlines Pertamina's capability in managing risks in potentially conflict-prone areas. The focus on safety ensures operations remain efficient and effective.
