This initiative focuses on investment and innovation to achieve higher growth. The event is taking place in Tokyo, Japan, amid the official visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

Key Takeaways:

  • Investment and innovation are key to breaking free from the middle income trap.
  • Pegadaian and SMBC Corporation sign an MoU for strategic partnership.
  • The forum strengthens economic cooperation and supports the Nawacita agenda of Indonesia's President.

The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce, Anindya Bakrie, emphasized the importance of connecting business players from both countries. The goal is to strengthen cooperation in priority sectors like renewable energy and the digital economy.

The forum also aims to address global dynamics, including the impact of geopolitical conflicts. Anindya stated that it is essential to advance bilateral relations to a more progressive level.

During the event, PT Pegadaian and SMBC Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at The Imperial Hotel Tokyo. The aim is to reinforce strategic partnerships in line with the forum's theme, “Value Co-Creation: Building the Future of Energy, Industry, and Global Supply Chains.”
