The table below sets out where the initial public offering stands, based on The VC Corner's review of the S-1, which cites CNBC for the last private valuation.

When Is the Anthropic IPO Date?

Anthropic has not set an IPO date yet, because the S-1 filed on October 26 has not become effective, according to The VC Corner. The company still has to fill in the price range, the number of shares and the size of the raise, all of which the filing leaves blank. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley lead the 22-bank syndicate that will run the offering.

Where Will Anthropic Stock Trade? Nasdaq Under ANT

Anthropic plans to list its Class A shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker ANT, per The VC Corner. The structure keeps control with the founders: seven co-founders will hold 50.1% of the vote through a single Class F share held by a Founder LLC, and the Long-Term Benefit Trust elects a majority of the board.

What Is Anthropic Worth? $965 Billion in Its Last Private Round

Anthropic has no public market value yet, since the S-1 leaves its valuation blank. The VC Corner, citing CNBC, says its last private round valued the company at $965 billion in May 2026, and it cites NBC News reporting that the IPO could value Anthropic above $2 trillion.

Anthropic S-1 Numbers: $16.3 Billion Revenue, $80.7 Billion Net Loss

Revenue reached $16,286 million in the six months ended June 30, 2026, up from $1,163 million a year earlier, a 1,300% increase, according to The VC Corner's reading of the S-1. Second-quarter revenue was $11.56 billion, and the quarter's $974 million of operating income made it the first profitable operating quarter among the six the filing shows.

The bottom line looks very different. The first-half net loss was $80,748 million, but $72,388 million of it came from non-cash fair-value changes on convertible notes, derivative liabilities and SAFEs, The VC Corner noted. The company held $131.7 billion in cash and short-term investments.

Demand from large customers is the other headline. Customers paying more than $100,000 on a trailing twelve-month basis rose from more than 950 to more than 11,900 between September 30, 2025 and September 30, 2026, and net revenue retention was about 900%, the S-1 shows, per The VC Corner.

What the $42 Billion Broadcom Loan Means for AVGO

The filing ties Broadcom to Anthropic as both a chip supplier and a lender. Broadcom agreed to lend Anthropic up to $42 billion through convertible notes, sized to cover about one-third of a $125.2 billion, five-year commitment for tensor processing unit (TPU) computing capacity, according to Quartz, citing Reuters' reading of Anthropic's prospectus. The notes could convert into Anthropic equity, and Anthropic said it does not expect any notes to be sold before it completes its IPO.

The prospectus warns that Broadcom's dual role raises "potential conflicts of interest" that could affect Anthropic's ability to secure the computing power it needs, Quartz reported. Anthropic is expected to become Broadcom's largest compute customer in 2027, per Reuters, while Amazon's role is concentrated in cloud services and distribution of the Claude models.

How Markets Reacted: Nasdaq Up 0.82%, SoftBank Up More Than 6%

The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.82% to 26,169 on Monday, the S&P 500 gained 0.70% to 7,677 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.28% to 52,362, according to The Motley Fool, which named Anthropic's S-1 as the session's main driver. The filing's revenue growth figures eased fears that the AI boom was losing steam, the outlet said.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index jumped 3% on Monday, its biggest daily gain in more than a month, Investing.com reported. On Tuesday, Asian tech and chip stocks followed: Japan's Nikkei 225 gained 2%, SoftBank jumped more than 6% and Advantest surged nearly 10%, while South Korea's KOSPI rose more than 4% in early trading.

Alphabet, Microsoft and Amazon report earnings later this week, and the Federal Reserve is widely expected to leave interest rates unchanged, according to Investing.com.
